Antenna URAN Yagi UL-033-b15
Overview
The URAN AY VL-033-B2 antenna is a 3-element Udo-Yagi antenna,
with a wide radiation lobe. The coverage diagram is shown in the photo.
Its primary purpose is to construct 2-, 4-, and 8-story in-phase antenna arrays (stacks),
including repeater applications requiring a sector (~120 degrees) main radiation lobe shape.
The operating bandwidth is approximately 15* MHz (see graph)
*the center frequency of the operating band can be selected anywhere within the UHF range.
The VL-033 antenna (boom L=0.4m*) is available in two versions:
1. Q15/6 Base - aluminum square tube 15x15 mm, elements Ø 6 mm.
2. Q20/8 Base - aluminum. 20x20 mm square tube, 8 mm diameter elements.
Maximum gain: 6.8 dB, maximum F/B ratio: 16 dB.
Impedance: 50 Ohms. Power: < 150 W (Q154 version), 250 W (Q208 version).
The antenna can also be used as an inexpensive, compact option for concealed installation.
When placed outside a window or on a balcony, the beamwidth is sufficient and there is no need to rotate it,
and the F/B ratio is such that it almost completely suppresses ambient noise.
ANTENNA ASSEMBLY: The elements are easily pressed through the insulators in the boom (it is better to use grease).
The antenna can withstand wind speeds of 25 m/s. Service life: at least 15 years.
! N.B. The recommended connector is N(f) or SMA(f).
