Bark-H1-281 - folding antenna (telescopic elements*) for Garmin Astro/Alpha (all versions).

The relative range of the collar is ~2.7 times greater than the standard Garmin Extended Range antenna.
This is 3-9 kilometres depending on the landscape and forest density. Compared to the Garmin branded telescope - the range is about the same.
Record (as of 28.03.20g. - 20km) Dimensions (without cable): 10x6x1 cm. Weight: 100g. Cable length: 65cm or 1m.

The maximum range of the antenna is provided when holding it by the rear part of the body (from where the cable comes out) on the arm stretched forward and upwards. The telescopic elements should be fully extended in opposite sides and be approximately on the same line, parallel or perpendicular to the ground and slightly pointing forward (see pic.). The direction of search is marked on the antenna body with an arrow.

The antenna increases the reception area of the DC30, DC40, DC50, T5, TT10, TT15 collars.

When working with Alpha, it will also increase the range of visibility of navigators (hunters) to each other.

Three variants are available to order.

H1-270 - standard 65cm cable. 

H1-280 - softer 65cm cable. 

H1-281 - soft cable, length 90cm.

The antenna works well in a car. Placed under the windscreen it receives a signal up to 8km! (depending on the terrain)
