Antenna "Sputnik-2S" Space (URAN Yagi V5U7-S)

URAN "Sputnik-2 Space" (AY V5U7-Q20) - Dual-Band Udo-Yagi antenna (Dual-Band Udo-Yagi) - 5el. x144MHz + 7el. x430MHz on a square aluminium boom 20x20mm. Good for both stationary and mobile use - trips to the countryside (work with a tripod*).

*For work from hand - it is better (easier) to use the variant V5U7-Q15M.

URAN Yagi V5U7 antenna electrical parameters:

• 145 ±1 MHz, Ga ~9dBi, F/B ~13 dB.
• 435 ±8 MHz*, Ga 12dBi, F/B >20 dB.
• Z: 50 ohms. Power: < 150 W.
• * 427-447 MHz bandwidth option available.

Two versions:

• 20x20 boom, elements** VHF-Ø 4 mm, UHF-Ø 4 mm. Weight 760g.
• 20x20 boom, elements VHF-Ø 8 mm, UHF-Ø 4 mm. Weight 960g.

** in transport position antenna elements -Ø 4 are stored inside boom.

Boom - aluminium alloy AD31T1. Length of boom - 130 cm.

Working length of the antenna - 1m. Fastening - by the "tail" with the help of AAP fastening node.

The antenna has a connector (optional) on the cable RG58, length ~0,5m. Default connector is SMA(m+f).

Material of elements: alloy AMg6 for Ø 4mm, AD31T for Ø 8mm.

Elements are fastened through the boom by tight fit, the density of which is enough for at least 200 assemblies (when installing/removing elements to one side: from the insulator flat).

Vibrator symmetry: there is - structural 1/4WL tumbler.

Bandpass Filter (BPF): is - 1/4λ shorted loop.

The antenna is short-circuited, low-noise, as the PF shunts the vibrator on non-operating bands and DC, reducing out-of-band interference and protecting the transceiver from "static" in thunderstorm weather*.
*When permanently mounted, the boom should be grounded for full lightning protection.

Antenna stacks x2 (+3dB) and x4 (+6dB). Vertical distance ~ 1.5m (between boom centres when antennas are vertically stacked on top of each other).

Horizontal stacking (with vertical polarisation) is possible, but the main lobe pattern will not be optimal for the UHF band.

Permissible wind speed is 30 m/s. Service life - at least 15 years. Antenna weight: 760/950g. Transport dimensions: 130 x 4 x 4 cm.

! Almost by all parameters imported analogues are inferior to the antenna URAN AY-V5U7. And if on electrical parameters parameters are close, then on convenience of operation, weight and compactness in transport position - our antenna is better than analogues.
