URAN Yagi "Sputnik-X1" antenna (SX1-V3U6)
Overview
Antenna URAN Cross UV-1 / AYX-V3U6 - Mobile / base dual-band 144+430 MHz Uda-Yaga antenna.
!! Two VHF+UHF antennas on the same boom in different planes. Two separate connectors !!!
This is the "junior" of the URAN Cross UV series. Length 0,8m, weight only 370g. It is the best amateur radio companion for expeditions, travelling, RDAC, SOTA activations, field communications via OSCAR.
Difference from the antennas Sputnik-1 and -2: the antenna consists of two independent antennas on one boom, with separate connectors, which allows you to control your transmission. I.e. full duplex is realised. The second difference is that the VHF section has much better parameters. In case of stationary installation (outside the window, on the balcony or on the roof) - grounded mast is recommended. Connector: at your choice.
The antenna is available in several versions:
1. CUV-1 Mobi Q15/12 - Mobile. Boom collapsible 15x15 + 12x12. Elem. d4mm. Weight - 350g.
2. CUV-1 Pro Q18/15 - Universal. Boom collapsible 18x18 + 15x15 coated*. Weight - 390g.
3. CUV-1 Base Q15-43 - Basic variant. VHF element. d=4mm, UHF element. d=3mm. Weight - 370g.
4. CUV-1 Base Q20-84 - Base variant. VHF element. d=8mm, UHF element. d=4mm. Weight - 450g.
* does not stain your hands and is well resistant to scratches
Assembly-disassembly of mobile versions of the antenna takes no more than 3 min. The boom halves are simply inserted into each other and fixed with a screw.
Working length of the antenna ~ 0,9 m. Mounting is possible for the "tail" and for the centre. Dimensions: working - 100 x 105 x 3cm, transport - 105 x 5 x 4cm.
Transport dimensions of variants "Mobi" and "Pro" - 55 x 5 x 4 cm.
Antenna elements are fixed through the boom, through insulators, tight fit, the density of which is enough for more than 200 assemblies. When assembling - it is recommended to use water as a lubricant.
Antennas are mutually-independent, so you don't have to install band elements that you don't need.
Symmetry and Bandpass Filter (BPF) are implemented by LC circuit + ferrite. This eliminates the antenna feeder effect, increases the band selectivity of the
antenna and protects the transceiver (especially wearable) from "static" and in thunderstorm weather.
Electrical Parameters:
- VHF section - band (at ksv<1.5) 143-147 MHz. Ga ~ 7.7 dBi, F/B ~20 dB. Z: 50 ohms. Pwr <150W.
- UHF sections - band (at ksv<1.5) 410-447 MHz. Ga ~11 dBi, F/B ~25 dB. Z: 50 ohms. Pwr <150W.
Optional:
- mounting assembly
- extension cable (feeder)
Antenna withstands wind speed of 25 m/s. Service life: at least 10 years.
